Truline is an open ended hollow pile. Initially, as the sheet is installed, it is driven through the soil such that the soil level inside the sheet remains at the same elevation as the mudline outside the sheet. However shaft friction between the sheet and the soil inside gradually develops and increases as the embedment depth increases. Eventually these frictional forces along with the inertial forces of the soil inside the sheet exceed the bearing capacity of the soil at the pile toe. At that point, the soil plug that has developed is driven down with the pile such that the soil level inside the sheet gets driven to lower elevations than the mudline outside the sheet.
This effect has been observed across a wide range of installations. Its extent varies with soil type making a precise determination of drop in the plug difficult to predict.
It may not be necessary to remove the soil plug at the bottom of the Truline cell prior to filling with reinforced concrete. The soil plug is considered to be sufficiently compacted by the installation process to be stable over the life of the structure. However, an engineering analysis must be performed to ensure that the bending and shear loads applied to the wall below the level where the reinforced concrete fill ends do not exceed the allowable limits for the Truline pile alone. If either limit is exceeded, a portion of the plug must be removed to extend the depth of concrete fill to the level below which the Truline sheet alone can carry the applied load.

Truline’s allowable moment, for applications not filled with reinforced concrete, is based on section properties that were determined using full scale performance testing rather than theoretical calculations. This is a conservative approach that accounts for the viscoelastic behavior of the material that determines its mechanical properties. It results in a value that the design engineer can be confident in without applying excessive factors of safety. Truline does not provide any warranty that these designs are acceptable for any specific applications. The design must be evaluated and approved by a qualified engineer familiar with the conditions on the actual job site.
50-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Truline (“product”) contains ultraviolet-resistant materials that will not corrode, rust, rot or decay in the marine environment. It has been tested by a premier, IAS-accredited independent laboratory, known for its accuracy and integrity.
LENGTH OF WARRANTY
This limited warranty provides that Truline will meet the physical properties as published at the time of purchase and to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of fifty (50) years from the date of initial installation. If your product contains manufacturing defects covered by this warranty, Truline LLC, at its option, will either replace the defective materials or refund a prorated portion of the original purchase price of the defective materials.
The warranty period shall not be extended by any such replacement or refund settlement on defective Products. If replacement materials are provided under this warranty section, then Truline LLC or its agents will supply the same within a reasonable period of time after the notice of claim is received by Truline. LLC.
WHAT IS COVERED AND NOT COVERED
Under this warranty, Truline LLC’s liability is limited exclusively to, at its sole discretion, either replace defective product or refund the original purchase price, prorated fifty (50) years from the date of purchase.
This warranty does not provide protection against any failure, defect or damage caused by situations and events beyond normal exposure conditions, including but not limited to, misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration/modification, accident, excessive loads, incompatible chemicals, normal wear and tear, pollutants, stains, lack of proper maintenance, improper handling or storage, improper installation, impact of foreign objects, acts causing surface abrasions or holes, damage resulting from settlement, shifting or defects of adjoining or attached structures; fire, earthquake, flood, fire, ice, lightning, hurricane, tornado or other casualty or act of God; or any other cause not involving manufacturing defects in the material supplied by Truline LLC.
Truline LLC shall have no liability whatsoever for the design, engineering or installation of structures. This warranty specifically does not apply to the following: Damage which results from improper specification and/or installation of rebar or concrete, whether due to improper criteria as specified by an engineer or due to improper installation by a contractor. Product must be installed by a professional licensed and properly insured contractor. No warranty of any kind is made as to the suitability, effectiveness or safety of the Product for a particular application or the results obtained there from. In no event will Truline LLC be liable for labor and installation costs, accessory materials, engineering, freight, disposal charges, taxes, or any other costs resulting from de-installation and re-installation, improper engineering or installation, mishandling or any other cause.
The Warranty Registration form below must be completed and signed by the Buyer and returned to Truline LLC within thirty (30) days after the initial installation has been completed in order to become eligible for any recourse under this warranty.
HOW TO FILE A CLAIM
IMPORTANT: ALL CLAIMS UNDER THIS WARRANTY MUST BE REPORTED TO TRULINE LLC WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS OF THE DATE THAT THE DEFECT IS FIRST DISCOVERED OR REASONABLY COULD HAVE BEEN DISCOVERED. The Buyer must send all claims with a written description of the defect, a picture and proof of purchase to: Truline LLC, Attn: Warranty Dept., 1415 Panther Lane, Naples, FL 34109. Truline LLC must have a reasonable opportunity to inspect the product before repairs are begun or alternatively, may require the Buyer to submit a sample of the defective material to Truline LLC for analysis. Truline LLC will then investigate the claim and examine the material claimed to be defective.
This limited warranty may not be modified except in a writing signed by an officer of Truline LLC. No representative, employee, agent of Truline LLC or any person or company, other than an officer of Truline LLC has any authority to make statements of representations regarding Product performance, assume for Truline LLC any additional or other liability or responsibility in connection with the Product or this limited warranty, except as contained in this warranty. TRULINE LLC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISCONTINUE OR MAKE CHANGES IN ANY OF ITS PRODUCTS. IF THE PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY ARE NOT AVAILABLE, TRULINE LLC SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE A PRODUCT THAT IN TRULINE LLC’S SOLE DISCRETION IS OF EQUAL QUALITY OR VALUE.
THIS WARRANTY REPLACES ALL OTHER ORAL OR WRITTEN WARRANTIES, LIABILITIES OR OBLIGATIONS OF TRULINE LLC. EXCEPT AS HEREIN STATED, TRULINE LLC MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES AS TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ANY OTHER MATTER, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL TRULINE LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WITH RESPECT TO PRODUCTS COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY. THE EXTENT OF TRULINE’ LLC’S LIABILITY AND THE OWNER’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS LIMITED TO REPLACEMENT OR REFUND AS SET FORTH HEREIN, WHETHER SUCH CLAIM IS BASED UPON THEORIES OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE. THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE GOVERNED AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA.

Project: Timber sleeper wall was failing due to timber rotting. The owner wanted a more permanent solution and was attracted to the 50 year warranty of the Truline Product.
Solution: Truline was selected for appearance ability to hand carry (no heavy equipment required) due to limited access to site.
Equipment: 2” gas powered water pressure pump for jetting in the sheets.
Cost Savings: When considering all factors such as limited access for equipment, environmental impact and time of installation, Truline was the most cost effective solution.

Project: The existing wooden seawall was failing and was going to start affecting nearby foundations if it was not fixed.
Solution: Truline seawall material was selected for clean aesthetics, ease of installation, and versatility/flexibility for rounded banks. There was not a lot of room for installation between the building’s foundations and the lake, and, with Truline, TSI could use smaller, light equipment.
Equipment: IHI-80 mini excavator rubber track, IHI-55 mini excavator with rubber track, water jet pump to jet out for install, and vibrating hammer on the IHI-80 to drill it down.
Cost Savings: The ability to use smaller equipment to install the wall saved fuel, time and preserved a small environmental footprint.
Location: Ft. Myers, FL.
Owner: Gulf Harbour Yacht & Country Club Association.

Contractor: TSI Disaster Recovery LLC.
Length of wall: 980 LF (800 series).

Project: 350 LF seawall replacement on developed lots with 14 ft. exposure and rock seabed.
Solution: Truline 800 series with steel-reinforced concrete fill and pin piles installed on 4’ centers to hold the toe. Truline was chosen for its ability to be installed with little equipment and in rock conditions, giving the customer a new steel-reinforced poured-inplace concrete seawall with the added protection of the vinyl form.
Cost Savings: Truline was installed with minimal equipment and little or no disruption of the developed uplands.

My husband and I contacted Alan from Crocwall after learning he’d done a revetment wall in the canal around the corner from us. We’d heard the client was very happy, and took our little boat around to have a look. We were really impressed with the wall from a visual perspective and it looked pretty solid, too.
Our revetment wall was a MESS! Crumbling into the canal, and our backyard starting to wash away. At that point we’d been searching for a way to fix our seawall for over 2 years. We’d become very frustrated with options that didn’t stack up from an engineering, longevity, and cost point of view.
Alan and his team were great to work with from start to finish. Ours was a particularly difficult job because we had the added problem of a lot of solid coffee rock (instead of sand) below the canal bed (just our luck!). The Crocwall was installed along our waterfront, and we also ended up using it as retaining wall in other parts of the yard. What we now have is a very solid, attractive and functional waterfront space. It wasn’t cheap (neither were any of the lesser quality options we looked at). However, a waterfront property is very special and valuable, and we felt it was worth the peace of mind afforded to us from investing in a product which will last us (and future owners) for decades to come.
